Swiss style<\/strong> (also Swiss school<\/strong> or Swiss design<\/strong>) is a trend in graphic design, formed in the 1950s\u20131960s under the influence of such phenomena as the International Typographic Style<\/a>, Russian Constructivism<\/a>, the tradition of the Bauhaus<\/a> school, the International Style<\/a>, and classical modernism<\/a>.[1]<\/a><\/sup>[2]<\/a><\/sup> The Swiss style is associated with the activities of Swiss graphic artists. However, the principles of the Swiss style have spread in different countries, so the “Swiss style” uses wide international program.[3]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is difficulty in defining the boundaries of the term “Swiss style”.[4]<\/a><\/sup>[5]<\/a><\/sup> Due to the wide distribution of the Swiss style in different countries, it is also often identified as the international phenomenon. Sometimes this concept is confused with the term International Style<\/a>, which denotes the architectural system of the 1920s \u2013 1960s and which, in turn, is associated with the development of architectural modernism<\/a> in the international space (Europe, Asia, Russia, America, etc.).[6]<\/a><\/sup> The term Swiss Style is also sometimes completely identified with the concept of International Typographic Style<\/a>. This is wrong.
